Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. (Matthew 11:28)
Blessed child of God, are you well rested? Or are you weary and burdened?
Jesus tells us to come to Him, for His yoke is light.
Stop scurrying around. Instead, rest at His feet and follow His soft guidance.
You’ll find that acting from a place of rest and inspiration achieves much more than labored striving.
When things get stressful, calm down, come to Jesus, and rest in His peace.
Take the time to reflect on who Jesus is, what He did, and what He can do for you.
He is the very embodiment of God’s goodness. And when you have Jesus in your life, you have everything.
So relax, enjoy the abundant life He’s given you, and rest. Rest in the goodness of our Lord.
Be Greatly Blessed!

Action Steps:
Stress seems to be everywhere these days.
Stress at work. Stress at home. Stress about money. Stress about health.
But scurrying around aimlessly achieves little.
Instead, rest at Jesus’ feet. Spend time with Him. Get to know Him and follow His lead.
You’ll find that by listening to Jesus and working from a place of rest, you’ll be able to achieve so much more, with so much less effort.
Let’s pray…
Prayer:
Father, keep me in my place of rest today as I go out into the day.
I long to spend more time with you. To get to know you.
Help me to see past the distractions of the world.
For only one thing is needful, to sit at Jesus’ feet and enjoy His presence.
Teach me to be like Mary, that I may be continually conscious of what is truly important.
I will rest in your secret place of refuge. I’ll refresh my soul with your Word.
Teach me to work from a place of rest and inspiration.
Lead me and guide me, so that all that I do will be effective and bring glory to your Name.
In Jesus’ Mighty Name,
AMEN!
