May The Peace Of Jesus Be With You

“Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, I give to you. Don’t let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful.” John 14:27

The peace of Jesus – what a wonderful promise!

Now oftentimes, when we think of peace, we think about calmness, tranquility, quietness of heart, etc.

But the truth is, the peace which Jesus gave us is much more than just peace of mind.

It’s a peace (shalom) that surpasses our human understanding. It represents wholeness, health, abundance, harmony, completion, perfection, contentment, and more…

It’s a peace that allows you to sleep soundly in the midst of a storm – because you know that God is with you and that He’ll guide you safely to shore.

It’s a peace that that allows you to walk boldly through the valley of the shadow of death – because you know that your Shepherd’s rod will fend off any danger for you, and His staff will pick you up if you fall.

It’s a peace that assures, soothes, heals, redeems, prospers & protects you and all that you love.

It’s a peace bought at a great price – Jesus’ suffering and death on the Cross. And yet it’s freely given to you.

He has taken all the punishment, curses, and afflictions upon Himself so that you can righteously receive the peace, blessings, and wholeness He so rightly deserves.

So watch your heart today. Is it filled with peace and faith? Or fear and worries?

For your shalom peace has already been paid for by the work of Jesus. Everytime you choose peace, you’re choosing to receive God’s gift. Everytime you choose fear, you’re choosing to aceept the devil’s lies.

And yes, it is a choice. A choice that’s made accordding to what you meditate on, what you think, and what you confess.

So what will it be today? Will you accept the peace (perfection) that Jesus died to give you?

Be Greatly Blessed!

John 14:23-31

If a man loves me, he will keep my word. My Father will love him, and we will come to him, and make our home with him. He who doesn’t love me doesn’t keep my words. The word which you hear isn’t mine, but the Father’s who sent me. I have said these things to you while still living with you. But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things, and will remind you of all that I said to you. Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, I give to you. Don’t let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful. You heard how I told you, ‘I go away, and I come to you.’ If you loved me, you would have rejoiced, because I said ‘I am going to my Father;’ for the Father is greater than I. Now I have told you before it happens so that when it happens, you may believe. I will no more speak much with you, for the prince of the world comes, and he has nothing in me. But that the world may know that I love the Father, and as the Father commanded me, even so I do. Arise, let’s go from here.
