Heaven Celebrates

‘Just so, I tell you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.’ (Luke 15:10)

Beloved, remember today that all of heaven rejoiced when you accepted Jesus. The angels celebrated when you had a transformation of your heart and mind. When you were made alive in Christ. When you reclaimed your rightful place as God’s royal child.

You had a change of mind.

No longer are you a slave; you’re now family.

No longer are you mired in sin; you’re now filled with Jesus’ righteousness.

No longer are you cursed; you’re now showered with God’s abundant blessings.

No longer are you dead, you’re now flowing with the resurrection life of Christ.

And now that you’ve been made alive, no longer turn back to the ways of death.

Remember today, once again, who you are in Christ. Celebrate with heaven. Rejoice. Receive the blessings and favor of our heavenly Father through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Heaven is celebrating. Are you?

Be Greatly Blessed!

Prayer:

Father, what honour it is, to know that all of heaven celebrated for me.

You found me when I was lost and you rejoiced.

Who am I? That you’re so mindful of me.

Yet, now that I know who I am in Christ, I too will rejoice and celebrate.

For I’m no longer dead, but alive with the life of Christ. I’m a new creation through the finished work of Jesus.

Help me to remember who I am. Help me to remember what Jesus has done for me. Help me to remember that heaven is celebrating for me.

O Lord, how great is your love for me? How perfect is your salvation?

I will continue to bless your Name. To sing praises to you. To celebrate together with heaven and share your blessings with the world.

In Jesus’ Mighty Name,

AMEN!

Additional Thoughts:

All the angels in Heaven wait for a man or woman to turn their heart towards God and repent. To have a change of mind regarding the things of God.

There is no greater cause for rejoicing among the Heavenly hosts and there is no greater cause for rejoicing on earth.

When a sinner joins the throngs of saints, the Kingdom of God resonates with jubilation and praise over the wonderful work God has done to turn a human heart back to Him.

Salvation is entirely His work, not ours. We pray. We serve in love. We hope. We never give up. But God gives the increase. And when it comes we are filled with wonder at what He can do.

No man or woman, boy or girl is too far from salvation. His hand can touch the heart of any and His ears are open to the cry of a repentant sinner (Isaiah 59:1).

Love never gives up believing for the best. So in love, we persist in our loving; taking every opportunity to show the world what Christ is like through our own example.

The faithful prayer of a righteous man or woman is heard by our Heavenly Father and we are told by James that such prayers are powerful and effective (James 5:16). So we continue to faithfully pray.

Let us be hopeful for the day of celebration when we can gather together with friends and family and join with the angels above to announce with joy that we were lost, but have now been found.
