‘With God nothing shall be impossible.’ (Luke 1:37)
Beloved, your heavenly Father is a God of impossible.
Even when there seems to be no way out.
Even when the vision seems too big to be fulfilled.
Even when the promise seems too good to be true.
God will make it happen.
Mountains will move. Seas will open. Mana will fall from the sky.
He will make a way for you.
A way to help you, prosper you, and guide you.
So rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
The Lord will fight for you. You need only be still.
Be Greatly Blessed!
Prayer:
Father, I know that nothing is impossible for you.
Give me the courage and faith to see each situation as you do.
I now focus my attention on what you can do, not what I can’t do.
No matter what the situation seems like, I know you will come through for me.
In you I put my trust.
In Jesus’ Mighty Name,
AMEN!

Additional Thoughts:
‘Ah, Sovereign Lord, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you.’ (Jeremiah 32:17).
Trust doesn’t come easy. We tend to doubt before we put our confidence in God. And we live in an age where we are surrounded by negativity and skepticism. No wonder we find it hard to trust.
It wasn’t easy for Jeremiah to buy land that was already occupied by his enemies. But he trusted God. It wasn’t easy for Esther to go before the King and plead for her people. But she trusted God. It wasn’t easy for David the shepherd boy, to believe that he would become king, even after he was anointed by Samuel. But he trusted God. And it wasn’t easy for Moses to believe that he and his people would escape from slavery in Egypt. But he trusted God.
It might not seem easy for us to believe that God can fulfill the impossible in our lives either, but we too must trust Him as the God-believing men and women who have preceded us.
Our ‘impossibles’ are nothing to God. What is your impossibility just now? Perhaps we are praying earnestly for a sibling, a friend or relative. Or perhaps there’s a mountain you’re trying to surmount yourself. We may feel discouraged or despairing over a health concern or a situation that is not unfolding as we had hoped. We may be stuck in our spiritual journey or struggling with an addiction that is robbing us of life, freedom, and peace.
Whatever our current condition is, there is another side to the story that we are forgetting. Jesus said, “What is impossible for mortals is possible for God.” What a person cannot do for himself or herself, God can. There are limits to the ways of the world, but there are no limits to what God can do.
So have hope. Keep faith. And pray always.
For nothing is impossible with God.
